About Me!

Hi, I’m Gwen St. Clair and I am a bay area native currently studying illustration at San Jose State University! I am a visual storyteller focused on kid lit and character/costume design. I am inspired by the changing of the seasons, the media that shaped my childhood, and the albums I put on while painting. Currently, I am working on a children’s book, Float, for my senior capstone project.

In my free time, I am watching as many movies and reading as many books as possible. I also love taking walks, playing trivia games, and drinking copious amounts of tea.
